Portrait of Three Artists by John Raphael Smith, Mezzotint, 1778

A late-eighteenth century mezzotint by John Raphael Smith, after a painting by Jean-François Rigaud, depicting three artists and founding members of the Royal Academy: Agostino Carlini; Francesco Bartolozzi; and Giovanni Battista Cipriani. Presented in a flat oak frame with a gilded slip.

The same mezzotint is held in the Royal Collection and featured in the 2017 Exhibition, Portrait of the Artist, at The Queen's Gallery, Buckingham Palace.
